Are you looking to tackle that next-level trail or work on your skills? Howler Bike Park offers individual and small-group MTB lessons from PMBIA-certified instructors. Whether you are just beginning your MTB journey or are looking to level up your skills, Howler can help you achieve your goals. With safety front of mind, riders will work on the following skills during the 3-hour lesson from 10 am to 1 pm:

THE FUNDAMENTALS 10 am - 11 am

  • Bike setup and operation
  • Proper body positions and movement
  • Braking with confidence
  • Terrain awareness
  • Descending& Cornering
  • One guided top-to-bottom run

PUMPING AND FLOW 11 am –12  pm

  • Fundamentals review
  • Using terrain changes to your advantage
  • Technique drills on dedicated terrain
  • Up to two guided runs

CORNERING IN BERMS 12 pm - 1 pm

  • Fundamentals review
  • Line choice and corner types
  • Cornering phases
  • Pressuring: techniques to maximize grip
  • Technique drills on dedicated terrain
  • Up to two guided runs

LUNCH IS PART OF YOUR TICKET AT GROWL GRILL AT 1 pm

Please plan to arrive 30 minutes before lessons begin.

Rental equipment is limited, so reservations are strongly recommended.

EQUIPMENT RECOMMENDATIONS

At Howler, safety is always our top priority. Our coaching staff generally recommends a full-suspension bike with disc brakes. Full-finger gloves, knee/elbow protection, and full-face helmets are also strongly recommended. All equipment is available to rent or purchase on-site at the Welcome Center.
