Stay At Howler

Immerse yourself in the beauty of the Ozark Mountains with a stay at Howler. We offer three overnight options: Glamping, camping, and boondocking parking lot spots. Our glamping and primitive campsites are right across the footbridge from our restroom and shower facilities. You're also within walking distance of our new skills course and children's play area—complete with a mini pump track for Stryders or small bikes and a beautiful cedar swing set! We are proud to be a STAR HOST on Hipcamp!

With almost 225 square feet of covered space, our glamping tents are spacious enough to stretch out and unwind. Your all-weather oasis is also outfitted with air conditioning and heat so you can rest easy no matter the temps. Enjoy your morning cup of joe wrapped in the beauty of the Ozarks on your private deck with Adirondack chairs. You'll have a picnic table to enjoy your meals. While there are no campfire rings at the glamping tents, you'll have access to the communal campfire near Base Camp.

Glamping tent options include:

  • 1 Queen-Size Bed
  • 2 Full-Size Beds

Need more sleeping spaces? Glamping Tents have plenty of room to add one or two of our comfy twin-sized cots if you wish! Bed linens are provided.

When you're ready to bring the whole family or a big bunch of friends to Howler for the weekend, we've got you covered—literally! Welcome to the Bunkhouse, our newest glamping tent complete with four full-size bunk beds to comfortably sleep eight adults—or even up to 16 people for a cozy experience!

The Bunkhouse offers almost 400 square feet of space, including a small front porch. And, of course, just like all our glamping tents, The Bunkhouse is air-conditioned in the warm months and heated in the cold months. We've also included a table and four chairs, lamps on each bunk, a charging station, two benches for seating/storage, and a table with two chairs on the front porch.

Our glamping tents are also outfitted with a mesh-covered zippered entrance for a lovely breeze and a split unit for air conditioning and heating. Our brand-new bathrooms with showers, shampoo/body wash, and hair dryers are located just across the footbridge toward Base Camp.

Howler Hideout

If you like to experience the great outdoors in the comfortable and cozy indoors, then the Howler Hideout Apartment is the perfect option! Hiding in plain sight above the bathrooms and showers in Base Camp is a private 700-square-foot apartment that includes a family room, small kitchenette, kitchen table with four chairs, bathroom with shower, large master bedroom with king-size bed, washer and dryer, luggage racks and plenty of space for seating and storage. The kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave, air fryer, coffee maker, and toaster. But we've got more in store for you with your very own parking space right next to the Hideout inside of Base Camp! Want even more perks? When breakfast is in season from The Growl Grill, we'll get your order the night before and then bring breakfast to you the next morning at whatever time you wish—along with your free coffee order from Howler Coffee!

Primitive campsites offer an elevated 12' x 8' wooden platform for you to set up your tent under the stars. You'll have your own firepit for campfires as well as a picnic table.
